Lets all laugh at the NFC East

Four games into the 2013 NFL season and the Dallas Cowboys are the superior team of the NFC East. Right now they are 2-2  and leading the race to 7 wins and a division title (for those of you scoring at home that means they're going to lose 9 games). But lets look at how futile the NFC East really is. 

Wins 

Four wins total in 16 games. The NFC South and AFC North are the next worse and they each have 6 wins. 

Losses 

The NFC East has 12 losses.  Only the AFC North has double figures in losses at 10.

Point Differential

AFC West +135

NFC South +49

NFC North +34

AFC East +7

NFC West -26

AFC South -30

AFC North -43

NFC East -126

But to really understand the futility of the NFC East wee need to look at point differential. Thus far the NFC East has given up 481 points and only scored 355. They have been collectively outscored by 126 points. The AFC North has only been outscored by 43 points.  

The NY Giants are really in a class of their own.
